Today we went on another speedboat trip which was just breathtaking. We got picked up at 8 to drive to a harbour at the eastern part of the island. We departed at around 10 and passed some amazing scenery along the way. Particularly Panak Island was a stunning place we saw.
After only about 20min we arrived at Hong Island in Phang-Nga Bay. In the water a guy in an inflatable kajak was already waiting for us. 2-3 people went into a kayak to see the beautiful caves. Sometimes they were so low that we had to lie flat in the kayak and release some air out of it to be able to pass through them.
We got rewarded with the most stunning landscape, absolutely amazing.
The next stop was Khao Ping Kan or James Bond Island which is also situated in Phang-Nga Bay. The movie Man with the Golden Gun was filmed here in the 70s (we tried watching it – not our thing 😉 )
We got some gorgeous pictures there as well. Even though lots of tourist were on the island everyone was able to secure some pretty great photos.
My heart was bleeding though for all the Pokemon Go lovers – they would have probably had quite a few good catches!
Then we moved onto Panyee Island, which is a Muslim village built on water.
They even have a floating football field there – no idea which player needs to jump into the water when the ball flies into it, though.
Then we headed to Ice Cream Cave which is named after this rock formation:
If you just go a little bit further a little lake appears.
Back on the boat, some guys thought it would be a great idea to feed a onkey some bananas – I have never seen anyone eating a banana so fast! Even though it is not really allowed to feed them (they might get used to humans too much and become quite aggressive) but I must admit it was really cute!
Our last stop was Naka Island, we stopped at this picturous idyll for about an hour to relax on the beach.
I can definitely recommend this trip and also the tour company. The tip culture was very relaxed as well (unlike the trip we have done to Phi Phi https://makeitbakeittakeit.wordpress.com/2017/02/10/phi-phi-island/) and the staff were very friendly as well. The scenery – well, you’ve seen it above 🙂

We paid 1600 Baht each, so going from seller to seller is truely worth it!
